Anfield cat was a hot topic during Everton 1 – Wolves 3

Everton 1 – Wolves 3
Everton’s win at Huddersfield was forgotten on Saturday at Goodison Park as Wolves won 3-1.
Should Everton part ways with manager Marco Silva?
The Toffees worked tirelessly trying to land Silva from Watford, before the Portuguese eventually took over last summer.
However Silva seems to have lost his spark, as Everton have lost three of their last four games.
A Ruben Neves penalty put Wolves 1-up, before Andre Gomes levelled for Everton in the 27th.
Wolves retook the lead on the stroke of halftime through Raul Jimenez.
Leander Dendoncker sealed the win with his first Premier League goal for Wolves in the 66th minute.

The Everton vs Wolves match had a long stoppage after a cat ran onto the Goodison Park pitch.

In comical scenes, the staff at Everton’s ground were unable to stop the cat for several minutes.

CAT. ON. THE. PITCH 😺
The most amusement Everton fans will have this afternoon.

Everton have a history of having cats on the pitch. Back in January 2016, during an FA Cup match with Dagenham & Redbridge, a similar incident played out.

However, whenever a cat appears in the Premier League, an old match between Liverpool and Tottenham which finished 0-0 comes to mind.
Back in 2012, a boring league clash between the Reds and Spurs was interrupted by another cat – ‘Anfield cat’.

The big question today is: will the person who set up the Anfield cat twitter account do the Goodison one?
